As many of you know, I love to craft. I love to scrapbook, knit, and make cards. However, I cannot sew. Most of the time, I am doing good to re-sew a button or a hole in a stuffed animal. I am always looking for new crafty ideas to use. Last winter, I came across a pattern for a no-sew blanket. Well, the title alone caught my eye. The cold weather came and went before I had a chance to make this blanket. One of my projects this week while off was to make this blanket. I am planning on making the boys one for Christmas, so I needed to try it out. It was very easy. The instruction were clear and easy to follow. I was able to create this blanket in about 3 and 1/2 hours, not bad for my first try. I am thrilled with how it turned out. It is pink, flowery, and just girly. Who knows? Maybe one day I will even take up sewing. But don't hold me to that one!!!

I love these blankets. I made one for Layla a few years ago, then for a few other people. I have stuff to make one for our baby too! :) They are snuggly and so easy. I love gifts people made, figure others do too! Cute choice of fabric!
I love the one Monica made for Layla. I use it all the time. They are so comfy and warm. Your boys I bet would love one.
