A Day in Chattanooga

During Papa's week of vacation, we went up to Chattanooga for the day. We went to the Tennesse Aquarium and the Children's Discovery Museum. Both have become favorite's to the boys. We had a great day. One of the boys' favorites were the River Otters. They were adorable. If you haven't visited there, it is well worth the trip. They have added an additional building. Lots and lots of cool creatures to see. A couple of blocks from the aquarium is the Children's Discovery Museum. Personally, I think it is waaay better than the Children's Museum in Downtown Atlanta. Everything there is hands on. You can do everything from play in water to build and race your own car. The upper level is themed related and they rotate the theme about 2 times a year. Last year when we visited, the upper floor was Clifford the Big Red Dog. This time it is Curious George. Even though the boys have outgrown George, they still enjoyed it. We are already talking about 2 day trip to Chattanooga this fall.
